Chris thinks he put him down on the security guard’s bed in Guang Yuan as we unloaded or bikes. Our bikes often spend the night in the little room where the security guard sleeps, so we unload bags as we park them there.
White Bear joined us at Thunsaiwittaya School in Saithongwattana, Thailand. Just as we were leaving the school, a student who wanted to be an engineer gave White Bear to Chris. White Bear travelled with us for days, covering km in countries. He rode on the front of Chris’s bike. At first he dangled, and later he sat on top of the front bag. He had several baths in hotel sinks, because he got quite dusty.
Perhaps he was tired of travelling and wanted to settle down. We hope he finds a new home and a kind new owner. We’ll miss him.
Goodbye, White Bear!
